Terms of Sale
Last updated: 11 June 2026
These terms apply when you buy a digital product from Operating Bench, a trading name of Scribespire Limited (company no. 15090317, registered in England and Wales; registered office: 1 The Briars, Waterberry Drive, Waterlooville, Hants, PO7 7YH). By buying, you agree to them.
What you are buying
Our products are digital downloads: templates, policies, checklists and spreadsheets. They are provided as editable files and PDFs. They are tools and starting points, not legal, financial, or professional advice.
Price and payment
Prices are shown on each product page. UK VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Payment is taken securely by Stripe at the time of purchase.
Delivery
Delivery is electronic. After payment you receive a download link by email, usually within a few minutes. If it does not arrive, email hello@operatingbench.co.uk.
Cancellation and refunds
For digital content delivered immediately, you agree that delivery begins as soon as you download the files, and you acknowledge that this means the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations no longer applies once download has started. This does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty or not as described. If something is wrong with a product, contact us and we will put it right or refund you.
Licence and use
When you buy a pack, you may use and adapt it within your own organisation. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish the files or substantial parts of them as your own product. We retain the intellectual property in the templates.
No warranty
Products are provided on an "as is" basis. We take care to make them accurate and useful, but we do not warrant that they are suitable for your specific circumstances or that they ensure compliance with any law or standard. You are responsible for adapting them and for taking professional advice where needed.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
